One of our innovative products is the 【Foaming Process】AIR PLA. It is a low-density foamed PLA filament. The foaming process reduces the density of the filament, making the printed objects lighter (approximately 80% lighter than ordinary PLA).

The pre-foaming process ensures density stability during the wire making process. Compared to Foaming When Printing filaments, our AIR PLA has higher printing density stability and is effective in suppressing stringing.

AIR PLA has the potential to print lightweight parts due to its low density. It is suitable for printing models like drones, RC-planes, and cosplay props.

Here are the mechanical properties of AIR PLA: Density: 0.9 g/cm3 at 23°C; Tensile strength (X-Y): 24.4 +0.3 MPa; Charpy impact strength (X-Y): 2.4 +0.3 kJ/m2; Bending modulus (X-Y): 1958.9 ± 72.6 MPa; Elongation at break (X-Y): 8.8 ± 0.3%; Elongation at break (Z): 2.0 ± 0.4%.
